GIA Graduate Gemologists & AGS Certified Gemologist Appraiser Graduates

Our family owned and operated business includes four Graduate Gemologists of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA). Our team also includes two Certified Gemologist Appraiser graduates, of the American Gem Society (AGS). This notable title, is the most highly regarded among our peers in the jewelry industry because it certifies that the individual has advanced training to adequately identify diamonds and gemstones to then further determine their value.

The American Gem Society awards titles to designated members as skilled professionals, upon completion of stringent gemological studies and examinations. For you, this means the AGS provides professional, knowledgeable, and trustworthy specialists, who are continually improving their knowledge of the jewelry and gem industry.

Accredited Gem Laboratory

We are also an Accredited Gem Laboratory, which is a special designation awarded only to qualifying American Gem Society member firms, that have proven their dedication to professional gemologist identification, in accordance with the Membership Standards of the AGS. This means the store must purchase and maintain gemological equipment and reference materials, and also provide a dedicated space for the proper use and display of that equipment. In addition, the store must employ a Certified Gemologist Appraiser or Certified Gemologist to directly supervise the gem laboratory.

Insurance Appraisals

We provide insurance appraisals which are also referred to as retail replacement appraisals. This type of report is necessary for insuring your items against loss or damage. The accuracy and detail included in this report make it possible to identify or have exact duplicates recreated of these precious items should they ever be lost or stolen.
